"We are ready to stand strong, challenge the status quo, and deliver real solutions that make life more affordable and opportunities more accessible for every Coloradan," he said.

Representative Rose Pugliese Leads House Republicans Again as Minority Leader

(Denver, CO - November 8, 2024) – House Minority Leader Rose Pugliese successfully remains as Minority Leader after her rare ascent to leadership as a freshman legislator earlier this year.

Today, the House Republicans met to vote on leadership for their caucus. Pugliese was widely supported in her home district by garnering over 60% of the vote in her re-election campaign for House District 14 and now was unanimously elected among her caucus members to continue to lead Republicans at a state Level.

“I am deeply honored by the trust our caucus members have placed in me,” said Pugliese. “I traveled the state multiple times to support our House candidates, walking neighborhoods and making calls on their behalf, while overseeing the largest investment in targeted House races of any Republican House Minority Leader.”

Largely due to her fundraising prowess in this election cycle, Pugliese highlighted that the caucus is on track to flip HD50, the first House Republican pickup in 10 years - with two other races too close to call and pledged to continue pushing until those races are officially called.

Under Pugliese’s leadership, House Republicans have shown they are willing to take bold actions to make Colorado more affordable and protect taxpayer dollars. “This is just the beginning,” she added. “Our caucus is ready, united, and driven to be the voice of real change for the hardworking taxpayers and families throughout all of Colorado.”
