In her second term as a State Representative, Rep. Frizell continues her commitment to championing legislation that upholds private property rights and builds a vibrant real estate market.” Said the Colorado Realtors® Association, “her in-depth local government background is a great source of knowledge at the Capitol and among her colleagues as they advance public policy related to housing. Rep. Frizell exemplifies service in public office through her access and communication with all groups, listening, and collaborating to achieve the implementation of practical solutions. In 2024, Rep. Frizell has championed numerous real estate focused efforts on behalf of Coloradans, including:
Sponsoring legislation to secure home equity for property owners in public auctions resulting from a tax lien.
Supporting construction defects reform to spur entry-level housing construction.
Protecting homeowners from onerous and unfunded wildfire mitigation requirements at point of sale.
Building political consensus for increased residential and commercial property tax relief while keeping public services funded.”
In addition, the Common Sense in the Courtroom Award from the Colorado Civil Justice League celebrates Representative Frizell’s leadership in maintaining a fair and balanced justice system. Her work to prevent lawsuit abuse and protect Colorado’s small businesses and working families from frivolous lawsuits has made a significant impact on ensuring that Colorado’s courts serve the people effectively.
