Rep. Rick Taggart Continues to Serve on JBC as Indefinite Substitute

(Colorado State Capitol, February 6, 2024) -- Today, the House Minority Office released the following statement clarifying the committee assignment status of Rep. Rick Taggart (R-Grand Junction).

"Rep. Taggart has been serving as an indefinite substitute on the Joint Budget Committee (JBC) for Rep. Bockenfeld (R-Watkins) while he undergoes cancer treatment. Rep. Taggart will continue in that role until Rep. Bockenfeld's health allows him to return to that strenuous role. Traditionally, the House Republican member assigned to JBC also serves on the Appropriations Committee, and holds no other committee assignments, which is the case for Rep. Taggart."
