Representative Carlos Barron, born in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico, immigrated to the U.S. as a young child and has been a proud resident of Fort Lupton, CO, since the age of five. A graduate of Fort Lupton High School, Rep-Elect Barron studied business management before joining and managing his father's oil and gas services company.
Alongside his wife, Carla, he has launched two successful businesses and raised three children, Santiago, Lucia, and Camila. Representative Barron has served on the Fort Lupton Planning Commission and is currently in his third year on the city council. With a strong work ethic and conservative values, he is committed to representing District 48 by advocating for energy independence, the Second Amendment, and parental rights.
