House Minority Leader's statement on Space Command decision

(Colorado State Capitol, July 31, 2023) – Today, House Minority Leader Mike Lynch (R-Wellington) issued the following statement in response to the decision to keep U.S. Space Command in Colorado.

"Space Command belongs in Colorado. Keeping this vital military asset in the Centennial State is the right decision for our country's national security and our national interests," said Rep. Lynch. "For decades, Coloradans have worked on behalf of the entire country, keeping Americans safe. We appreciate the hard work of the Colorado delegation to keep Space Command in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains where it began. Space Command remaining headquartered in Colorado is the right decision today and for future generations.”
